Effects of Spring Biomass Burning in the Indochina Peninsula on May Precipitation in South China

نویسندگان

چکیده

Each year, during the dry season that precedes summer wind and rainfall Indo-China Peninsula (ICP), significant biomass burning occurs reaches its peak from March to April. This generates large amounts of aerosols impact East Asia surrounding areas through Asian monsoon. study aims investigate potential connection between over ICP precipitation in South China May, along with physical processes involved. The analysis is based on GLDAS soil moisture reanalysis data CPC (NOAA) covering period 1980 2021. research findings indicate a negative (positive) correlation region spring same (South China) May. circulation patterns corresponding years biomass-burning emission anomalies are further investigated, emissions temperature examined. results suggest can significantly affect atmospheric precipitation, ultimately leading anomalous China.
